# 14 - Super Fly Guy
Here is block #14 that I promised a couple of weeks ago.
Since then, I have been to Florida to participate in our second annual "Girl's Week-end" for my two daughters and one granddaughter. Our theme (thanks to "big sister") was "A Blast from the Past" that included bowling, lunch at the beach, and games we used to play. Mom/Geemie kept up, believe it or not, and had so much fun being together!!
The following week-end, our son-in-law graduated with his Ph.D at University of South Florida in Tampa. What an accomplishment for him, as he is a husband,Father to two children, and Chief of Fire/Rescue in St. Petersburg, FL. We are so proud of him for his determination to get it done!!
Because we were having so much fun being "busy", the fabric for the quilt sashing, posts, and backing has not been chosen yet........it will probably happen this summer. In the meantime, I was given 6 more pictures to use as patterns, and there may be 5 more to come (to lengthen the quilt). Flexibility is a must when you are creating on the fly.....LOL!
I am missing all the fun and the love we shared in person, but I am contented to be home.

Home and back at work I see. Can't say I ever gave a lot of thought to the inside of the lunch-room trash but your fly guy is very cute!
