Interim quilting break

You know from a previous post that my family went home (an orthodontist appointment).  As it turned out, the orthodontist has to wait because Mother Nature is not ready (two more baby teeth to lose)...so..........the kids got to come back, and Mom and Dad stayed home to get some date time together.

We  have been playing hard and having a lot of fun, and they are here for only two more days.  : o (

We have enjoyed hiking, ice cream, sliding rock, ice cream, Ripley's Aquarium (their favorite), ice cream, the Biltmore House, ice cream, Tweetsie Railroad (their second favorite), souvenirs, cooking, sewing, shopping for school clothes, and lots of good memories for all of us!!

Quilting can be put on hold until the normal (yawn)  life resumes, but children stay little for such a short time.

To MY children I say, "I wish I was the person I am now when you were the person you were then."

But we ARE the people we are now because of the great parent you were then. I wouldn't change a thing!
