Had a request to see all 18 blocks in one pic, so here it is. The middle one on the top row is the one we can't find a matching fabric for......... : o (.........we may have to "tweak" the color a little. In order to get all the blocks in the photo, I had to get pretty far away, so it may not be all that clear.
(Don't forget, if you click on the photo, and then click again on it, it will enlarge it and you can scroll on the side or the bottom to move around to see it better)

Which color are you not finding the match for - the bear, the skirt, the green underneath, etc. Might be that some friend of yours with a fabric collection could find the missing color?? The friend would need the actual illustration, not the photo, in order to tell, but a local friend could probably borrow it for a day or two....
The bear.....the rusts this year are too dark, the oranges aren't brown enough, and the browns aren't warm enough!! Great idea.......should I give you the picture? HAHA
Hi Sherrye, Cheryl Kotecki told me about this series that you are working on so I came over to take a peek. What a wonderful idea! Does your daughter know you are making this? I've been doing a series on my blog about early 20th c quilt designer Ruby McKim's quilts for kids. Stop by when you have time.

Karen, yes, she is the one who designed and requested it for herself. She is here visiting now and has brought me the other six pictures I need to complete all the blocks. I will be entertaining company for another week, but look forward to finding time then to see your work, too! Thanks!!
