Four prior blocks had been outlined in black, and this one needed to be too, so here is the block after outlining. This is the one that will go in the quilt.
Cheryl, so far there are 16, but I may add 4 more depending on size after borders, sashing, etc. My granddaughter is only 12 and she is already as tall as I (yeh, yeh, I know that's not saying much). It would be nice for her feet to stay on the blanket and not fall off into the sand!! :0)

That black outline does make the pink shell standout better against the background. How many applique blocks will there be for this quilt?
