While I'm waiting for more fabric for the character quilt, I am starting blocks for the next project. If you look way back to the beginning of this year on the blog, you will see that my granddaughter's beach blanket comes next. Here are some of the bright, sunshiny, and ocean-blue fabrics that she chose for her blanket.

She will probably add more if she finds more that she likes. It won't be a "normal" quilt (with batting), but I will put another piece of fabric in the sandwich; probably something very absorbent, like terry cloth, or a heavier cotton.

There's a lot more than blue going on in that group of fabric-- It's a bright and beautiful combination!
