Addition to prior post about heating for winter

Here is a little addition to the prior post about our heating situation for winter:

We had approximately 2.5 cords of wood delivered and took a couple of days to stack it, but we now have enough wood for the stove for probably a couple of years.  In addition, we will eventually have some trees on the property cut (dead or dying) and they will need to season for the future, also.  We got three stacks on the deck and then three stacks plus a little one by the back door.  All oak and ash for now.

Three stacks on the deck are about 5 feet high and 10 feet long.  Logs are 14" to fit in the stove.

Stacks by the back door are about 6 feet high (except the short stack of course)
