Cheryl, yes, hand-quilting after all blocks are finished and made into a quilt sandwich. In order to keep it simple so it doesn't take away from the characters, I'll probably do a cross-hatch on the background of the blocks, and then maybe a simple chain in the sashing (or just continue the cross-hatch across that too). The "quilt" usually decides for me in the end. You know how they sometimes have a life of their own.. :0)
