Goals for the next few months



 This will be my focus for the next few months.  Andrea gave me a two week pass to a fitness center so I could try it out.  Today I committed to 1.5 years.  If it works, I will reduce my Rx intake and then my doctor will let me visit just once a year instead of every three months.  I have been twice already (this week), and plan to go 3-4 times a week minimum.  I will be walking/hiking with friends one day a week, and clogging one day a week (with performances counting as EXTRA).  I hope it is enough to jump start some movement and shedding of extra weight.  Hopefully, it will also increase my lung capacity, strengthen my heart, and tone my skin.  At this late stage of life, it may be asking too much, but I am hopeful and determined.

Hey Fran!! Well I will tell you that I am NOT eating your chess pie!

Seriously, it is going well. I have learned to love it, and miss it on days I don't go. (I go 4 days a week, walk/hike one day, and CLOG one day....we MISS you).

I have not lost any weight (by the scale), but my clothes are fitting differently, so it is moving around I guess. I do feel a lot better and my strength and stamina are increasing. Shoot, I might even, one day, be able to do "Ladies' Choice" with you (NOT)!!
