Azalea gardens at Biltmore

We had long time friends, the Courtneys, here this week-end for the "Flower Festival" at the Biltmore Estate.  They have started to bloom, but aren't quite at peak yet.  For those of you who don't live here and can't go, here are a few pictures.

We also went to the Vance Birthplace Museum up near Weaverville.  There is a possibility that they will be closing because of budget cuts, so we wanted to see it before that happened.

Then we took a stroll through Reems Creek Nursery and the Courtneys took home a beautiful little Japanese Maple tree.

Unfortunately, I was involved in the events, so didn't take anymore pics after the Biltmore, so here are those for your enjoyment.
