One more step in the right direction!

The Prosthetist came today to fit and adjust the socket.  It fit well except for a little trimming at the top and the length.  Now that it is fit, he can make the real thing!  The foot on this fitting is just wood, so it is a lot heavier than the real one will be.  He says the pressure is not as bad as he thought it might be on his own leg. The pressure is distributed well so no one place takes the full weight of his body.  He also was able to get out of the chair without using the walker to stand up.
