My Dad had the casting for his prosthetic socket this morning. Here are some pics my Mom took. Stitiches out tomorrow and a couple more weeks 'til walking? We sure hope so!!
This has been an amazing process so far. I'm sure he's anxious to get on with it and begin walking without the walker soon. I'm really so happy for him... and I'm really glad you're able to be there with them. I'm sure they're so grateful for you. Love you! :)
The plaster part looks about like the process when they cast my feet for orthotics a month ago - I'm supposed to get them tomorrow. I hope they work - hope your Dad's new appendage works for him!
