Planting - Round two

 Today I tried to finish filling up the pots I had planned for this year.  Last night I went ahead and put dirt in the little "herb tower" and this morning, here's what it looked like....damn squirrel!  Sure glad I hadn't already planted it.  He also dug holes in other pots, but not as much damage was done.

Mischievous Squirrel

Yellow Celosia, Blue Salvia, Basil, Parsley, Spearmint, Lemon Balm, white Begonias, Red Verbena

 Added three more strawberry plants (left side washtub)

 Red Verbena in gold pot and last years Dianthus, Althea, and iris (not up yet) in the big pot.

 Sweet Basil (my favorite)

Last year I put in two creeping Phlox.  One is blooming like crazy already and the other got more shade than it liked, so I dug it up and put it in the bottom pot on the iron tower.  It may bloom better now that it will get more sunshine.
The two top pots have sweet potato vines that will trail down as they grow.

The Dwarf Alberta Spruce got a larger home.

Who could resist just a few little annuals to brighten the deck with color later this season.....Yellow Celosia, White Begonias, and Red Verbena.

I'm pretty sure there is Advil in my future tonight........
